Well, let's see, what to say. First and foremost, we have no internet access up at camp clearlake, so interneting will be every couple of months or so for me. So if you need an immediate response to something, you'll have to write me snail mail. My mom has the address.
I am doing fine, although baby has become very active and that can be rather uncomfortable, especially when it gets the hiccups at three in the morning, but it is exciting to know that soon I will hold this tiny stranger and be able to watch it grow. Only about fifty two more days till the baby is due, (I think....another twenty this month, then thirty next month and two the next, yup, fifty two). July second is coming up fast.
by the way, it is four thirty am and I am wide awake because my body decided that it wanted to hurt like crazy and deny that it knows how to breathe properly when reclining or lying down. I argued with it for a few hours, but finally decided that I needed to sit up and make it really tired so it doesn't care how it is positioned, it will just sleep. we are staying at a friend's house who has internet conveniently located in the room we are sleeping in. I am trying to let Jacob sleep since he has been up with me for a couple of hours.
Anyhow, we are getting settled into our new home up at camp and enjoying every minute of nature. We have a chipmunk that is so tame that it eats out of our hands and three hummingbirds that like our feeders. ONe of them got there first and claimed both feeders for it's own and spends its days buzzing around the other two trying to keep them for eating any of "it's" food. It is rather humorous to watch. We have canada geese by the dozens and elk that like to visit late at night. We have seen as many as fifteen on campus at once. They are very shy and leave as soon as they see us, but I am told there is a mother deer that hand feeds each year. that should be fun.
the geese have all nested on a small island in the middle of the lake and we went over to clean up garbage and accidentally scared them all off their nests, but they came back as soon as we got back in our rowboat.
It has been lots of fun this far and we look forward to all the things that are going to happen soon. Please pray that we will make it down the hill in time when the baby comes, cause it is an hour to the hospital. thanks.

I have a new job...well, three new jobs.  :)  I am going to work for the school that is also a church that mom smith works for.  I am going to be a private tutor, a substitute, and an after school daycare worker.....should be fun, although some days may be long if I do all three on one day.  :)  Seven am to six pm would be a long day...but oh well, we need the financial side of it, so God will give me strength.  Please continue to pray for us as we are both fighting colds and we are not able to get enough sleep right now, we wake up quite a bit and we don't sleep well when we do sleep.  :)  well, that's about it.  :)

Well, today I am helping mom by subbing for her as the receptionist for the church office......so the phone rings and I start to answer just like I did at Cherry Valley brethren schools, then I catch myself (before I have picked up the phone) and sit there trying desperately to remember where I am and how I am supposed to answer the phone....it got better from there.  The first call was a simple transfer...except that I had forgotten that the person they wanted to be transferred to was not to be disturbed.  So I went and appologized.  The next call was for the same person...and this time I remembered...except it was her husband....so I went to talk to her and she was gone....so I had to have her husband leave her a message....a few minutes later she came back and I told her her hsuband had left a voicemail....then a couple minutes later another call came, but this time when I tried to send them to voicemail, they said she had asked them to call...so I had to go bother her again....then a few minutes later a man came in with a question that I couldn't answer...so I had to bother her again!  Not exactly leaving her alone.......If you know what I mean.  Oh well.  She didn't seem too upset....Life goes on.  On the other hand, I stuffed envelopes all afternoon and got a tip for it....I got an application filled out and turned in to work as a private tutor and as a substitute....Life is okay when you have God on your side...:)

Well, I said that we were tired, in my last post, but that is just the tip of the iceberg.  We are more like exhausted.  We are severely sleep deprived, and that makes us get cold easily, and sure enough, Jacob has one and I am getting one.  PLease pray, because it is hard to work all day when you feel more like crawling in bed for a week.  I am trying to find energy to search for a job, because I need one to help with costs (it is really expensive out here).  Please pray that I will find one soon.

On the up side, we have found most of our house!  :)
